Sunil Narine West Indies mystery spinner announced retirement

Sunil Narine, the West Indies mystery spinner, has announced his retirement from international cricket. Narine, who is currently playing for Trinidad and Tobago in the Super 50 Cup, will retire from West Indies' domestic 50-over competition at the end of the tournament. The 35-year-old spinner had a career that saw several stormy days on and off the field.

Narine's absence from international cricket for four years was a major reason behind his decision to retire from the international arena. In August 2019, he made his final appearance in a Twenty20 match against India. Narine's career highlights include his debut in the Champions League T20 in 2011 and his performance in the World T20 final in 2012, where he took 3 wickets for 9 runs.

Narine's retirement from international cricket does not mean the end of his cricketing career. He'll be playing in T20 leagues all over the world. One of the most in-demand T20 bowlers in the world right now is Narine.

In his elaborate statement, Narine thanked Cricket West Indies, the coaching staff, passionate West Indies fans, and his teammates who enabled him to play at the highest level, in all formats and with some memorable successes. Narine also acknowledged that he is a private person but gave credit to his family for supporting him and being by his side.

Narine's retirement from international cricket marks the end of an era for West Indies cricket. His contribution to the game will always be remembered, and his fans will miss his magic on the field.
